Satahanka X is the 10th international sea scouts and guides camp organised by the Finnish scout and guide association. More than 1500 scouts and guides from Finland and abroad are expected to join the campsite on the sandy beaches of Syndalen in Hanko, the most southern part of Finland. This is the place to be for all the sea scouts around the world!

Themes of the camp are expeditions and exploring expeditions. During the camp everybody has the chance to explore the neighbouring watercourses on sa ils on both keelboats and centreboards. This is the event that gathers together all the fit-to-sail scout boats!

On their way to the campsite the troops have the possibility to study the state of the Baltic sea. A visible part of the camps daily programme will b e the joint project for the Finnish scout and guide association and the Finnish institute of marine research called Nodu. Other exciting programmes on S atahanka X are the other marine related activities as well as the traditional scout skills on land.

The whole camp will be gathered together on the grand opening and closing ceremony as well as on the sporty Olympics and the camp service.
